Anti bullying
At Braunstone Frith Primary Academy, we are committed to providing a caring, friendly and safe environment for all of our pupils so they can learn in a relaxed and secure atmosphere. Bullying of any kind is unacceptable at our school. If bullying does occur, all pupils should be able to tell and know that incidents will be dealt with promptly and effectively. We are a TELLING school. This means that anyone who knows that bullying is happening is expected to tell the staff, parents or a trusted adult.

Anti Bullying Charter
At Braunstone Frith Primary Academy, we work together to create a community where bullying is not tolerated.
We understand that bullying is when someone makes us feel frightened or upset by hurting us or our feelings Several Times On Purpose.
Our school is a place where bullying is not tolerated and always dealt with.
In our school we will
- Treat everyone with kindness and respect.
- Respect all of our differences so that ther are No Outsiders.
- Take responsibility for our own actions and words
- Teach everyone what bullying is about and how hurtful bullying is.
- Tell an adult in school if we are bullied.
- Tell an adult in school if we know someone is being bullied (Start Telling Other People)
- Be a good friend and treat others as you would want to be treated.

We define bullying as physical or verbally aggressive behaviour that occurs,
‘Several Times on Purpose’.
The school uses this definition to help children understand the seriousness of bullying compared to other unacceptable behaviours and provides the ‘STOP’ acronym that leads to children knowing they should,
‘Start Telling Other People’
If you have any concerns regarding bullying of any form please contact the school office.
