Well done to our pupils who earned REACH IT and Star Reader certificates last week.
Year 1 children were able to meet lots of different animals as part of their Science unit this term. The children held and stroked an owl, a snake, a frog, skinny pigs, giant snails, stick insects, tortoises and more! The children were brilliant and asked lots of great questions!

On Monday 22 January the girls football team competed at the grand finals of a countywide football tournament.
The event was held at the Leicester City Football Club Seagrave training ground. Out of the 64 teams who started in the tournament, we were one of the top ten competing in the finals and ended up finishing in 6th place! The girls worked and trained so hard and were very happy with their finishing position!
Our Choir did the whole of Braunstone Frith Primary Academy proud on Monday 22 January when they joined other primary schools at the Young Voices concert in Birmingham.

Our Year 1 pupils had a very special trip recently as they took a trip on the Santa Train.
Letters were written to Santa who surprised our children as jolly St. Nick spread seasonal cheer.
